A Blue Card appointment is short, and much of it is paperwork — but the questions that do come land fast, and they expect the gross salary, the job title, and the qualification you say out loud to match the papers in front of the officer. Pick three, set a timer, and answer each in a breath or two. The point isn't a script — it's hearing whether your degree, your offer, and your salary agree with each other when you speak at speed. - No. It's speech rehearsal only — practice saying your answers out loud. It doesn't change your eligibility, your documents, or your case.
- Does every Blue Card applicant get an interview?
- No — the Blue Card is largely a documents process, and many appointments are a check of your contract and qualification. When questions do come, at the mission or later at the Ausländerbehörde, treat this as rehearsal for the moments your story is spoken.
- Is wanting to stay in Germany a problem?
- No. The Blue Card is a path to permanent residence, and bringing family is a normal part of it. VisaRoom never treats an intention to settle as a red flag — it only checks that your answers stay consistent with each other.
- Will this check whether my degree or salary qualifies?
- No. VisaRoom checks only that your own answers agree with each other and with what you say is in your papers. Whether a qualification is recognised or a salary meets the threshold is for the ZAB and the German authorities to decide — verify those with the official source.
